This Refund Policy details the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for products and services purchased through our Website (www.bathsy.in) or directly via our authorized sales channels. We are committed to a fair, transparent, and prompt handling of all eligible refund requests. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Return & Exchange Policy.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined by the product type and the condition of the returned item, along with adherence to the specified timeframe.

a) Standard Products (Non-Customized Items):

These are pre-manufactured products available directly for purchase on our Website without any bespoke modifications.

  • Eligibility Window: Refund requests must be initiated within 7 calendar days of the product delivery date.
  • Condition Requirement: The product must be returned in its original, unused, and undamaged condition, including all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and components. Products showing signs of installation, wear, or damage are not eligible for a refund.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid invoice or order confirmation is mandatory for all refund requests.

b) Custom or Made-to-Order Products:

These are products manufactured or altered specifically to your unique specifications (e.g., bespoke shower enclosure sizes, specific glass types, custom finishes).

  • Limited Eligibility: Due to their unique nature, custom or made-to-order products are not eligible for a refund once manufacturing or fabrication has commenced.
  • Exceptions for Defects/Errors: Refunds for custom products will only be considered in the following rare circumstances:
    • Manufacturing Defects: If the product exhibits a confirmed manufacturing defect upon receipt.
    • Incorrect Product Delivered: If the product delivered is demonstrably different from the approved specifications in your order confirmation.
  • Immediate Notification: In case of manufacturing defects or incorrect delivery of custom products, you must notify us immediately upon receipt, providing clear photographic or video evidence.

3. The Refund Process

To ensure a smooth and efficient refund process, please follow these steps:

  1. Initiate Request: Send an email to info@bathsy.in within the applicable refund eligibility window (as per Section 2).
  2. Provide Details: Your email must include:
  • Your full Order ID (e.g., #BATHSY2025XXXXX).
  • A clear reason for the refund request.
  • Photographs or videos of the product, clearly showing its condition and any issues.
  1. Verification & Approval: Our dedicated customer support team will review your request and the provided evidence. You will receive a response regarding the approval or denial of your request within 3 to 5 business days.
  2. Product Return/Pickup (If Applicable):
  • If your refund request is approved for a standard product, we will provide instructions for returning the product. This may involve arranging a pickup, or you may be required to ship the product back to our designated facility.
  • Return Shipping Costs: For eligible standard product returns due to customer change of mind, the cost of return shipping may be borne by the customer. However, if the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on Bathsy’s part, we will cover the return shipping costs. Specific details will be communicated upon approval.

Refund Processing: Once the returned product is received and inspected by our team to confirm its eligibility, the refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days from the date of product receipt at our facility, or from the date of refund approval for cases where product return is not required.

4. Refund Method and Timelines

  • Digital Payments (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking): Refunds are typically credited back to your source account within 7 to 14 working days after the refund is initiated by Bathsy.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Refunds will be processed via bank transfer to the customer’s provided bank account. You will be required to provide your bank account details (Account Name, Account Number, IFSC Code).
  • Third-Party Delays: While we process refunds promptly, Bathsy is not liable for any delays caused by your bank, credit card company, or payment gateway. We recommend contacting your bank directly if the refund has not reflected within the stated timeframe.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Any custom or bespoke product once its manufacturing or fabrication process has commenced.
  • Products returned in a used, damaged, altered, or incomplete condition (missing parts, accessories, or original packaging), unless due to a confirmed manufacturing defect or Bathsy’s error.
  • Refund requests made after the specified eligibility window has lapsed.
  • Installation, delivery, or any other service fees, once the respective service has been rendered or completed.
  • Loss or damage to the product during return transit due to inadequate packaging by the customer.

6. Order Cancellation and Refund Due to System Errors

Bathsy reserves the right to cancel any order and process a full refund in the event of:

  • Incorrect Pricing or Technical Issues: Where the product was listed at an erroneous price due to a system glitch or typographical error.
  • Product Unavailability: If the ordered product is out of stock or unexpectedly unavailable.
  • Suspected Fraud or Non-Compliance: If we suspect fraudulent activity or believe the order violates our Terms of Service or applicable laws.

In such cases, a full refund, including any shipping charges paid, will be issued promptly to the original payment source. You will be notified of such cancellation via email.
